All flowers are inherently beautiful and magical. In addition, all plants have uniquely developed strategies to get pollinated and reproduce. As colorful flowers of daytime paint our landscape with reds, purples, yellows, and pinks, some flowers spared the color-making and instead decided to emit heavenly scents and bloom at night. Moths, who are active at night, have poor eyesight but an excellent sense of smell i greatly benefitted from the blooming of these flowers at night. Featured are 7 flowers native to the southwest that open their luscious blooms at night. Night-blooming Cereus California Soap Root Coastal Four-O'Clocks Blazing Star Sacred Datura Moonflower Desert Evening Primroses This is an archival giclee print. Originally painted with traditional watercolor materials and techniques, this print excellently reproduces the watercolor magic with its rich tones and quality. It is printed on an archival, acid-free natural paper made of plant cellulose and cotton using premium quality pigment inks. This print won't ever fade or age. Due to the organic nature of the paper this is printed on, very minor variations and flecks of fiber may appear on the paper. Also, if you are looking for frame suggestions for this piece I recommend arttoframe.com for high quality yet affordable frames, and the Etsy shop HangerFrames for quality poster hangers. For this piece, I recommend a 12" hanger. 11"x14" prints are sent flat, on a foam core backing board will protective covering. Turnaround is typically 1-3 days, but it can be 5 so patience is so appreciated. ***Watermark is not on the actual print, I just have to use that to protect my images*** Botanical Print- Night Blooming Flowers Watercolor Art Print- Native California Plant Art, Botanical Illustration, Floral Print, Desert Wildflowers, Night Blooming, Southwest Art
