Stinging Nettle Botanical Art Print

Though surprising, it is understandable how Stinging Nettle has gained such popularity in the herbalism and natural food communities. Nay, you can't know an herbalist without them saying something to the effect of "nettles are deeply nourishing." According to herbalist Rosemary Gladstar, nettle is “one of the highest sources of digestible iron in plant form.” In addition, stinging nettle is uniquely high in other vitamin and minerals, including vitamin K and Silica which can be sorely lacking in the modern diet, even if you eat organically.

This is an 11"x14" archival giclee print of my original watercolor painting of Stinging Nettle, Urtica dioica. Originally painted with traditional watercolor materials and techniques, this print excellently reproduces the watercolor magic with its rich tones and quality.
